    Default Integrating KashFlow with Opencart

    Hi,

This is my first message on this forum, hope somebody can help me.

I am trying to integrate the Opencart e-commerce software with KashFlow. I know the e-commerce package inside out, but I am not quite sure about the usage of the KashFlow API from PHP. The examples look simple enough, and all I am interested in is using KashFlow's Invoice functions.

Will the standard PHP-5 SoapClient which comes pre-installed on our webhost be good enough to access the KashFlow API? Is the latter Soap 1.2 compliant? Any PHP examples here? Any pitfalls I need to be aware of?

Well, I ran a quick test, and got a successful test on the insertCustomer API to work. I must say though that some better documentation would have been helpful, such as the fact that I first had to enable the API usage in my KashFlow account and also set the IP-addresses of the machine where my PHP SoapClient was running. I also noticed that in the case of the insertCustomer API some of the arguments from the Customer object weren't needed, not even wanted, though the API documentation said otherwise.

I guess it will require some trial and error runs when using some of the other APIs before getting them to work.

    Hi,

As you've discovered, SOAP 1.2 is supported.

It should say on the API site that you need to enable the API.

I'll look into the documentation to see if we can make it clearer.

    Hi,

Did you manage to integrate Kashflow? I'm hoping to get this done in time for the new year so if there is anyone out there who can integrate it for me, please email me a quote!
